About:

Maya joined the lab in the Summer of 2023 and is continuing as an Undergraduate Thesis Student. She is in her fourth year of the Honours Biology program. Outside of the lab, Maya enjoys reading, family time and traveling.

Research Interests:

Maya is interested in isolating novel natural products to target bacterial pathogens and investigating structure activity relationships of antimicrobial compounds.
