About:

David joined the lab in May 2025 as a summer research assistant and will continue as an undergraduate thesis student in the fall and winter semesters. He is an Honours Life Sciences student with a concurrent certificate in Science Communication. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports such as soccer and basketball. He also enjoys music and playing his guitar.

Research Interests:

David is exploring the soil resistome through functional metagenomics and high-throughput screening, aiming to identify resistance genes present.
