About:

Anahita joined the lab in May 2026 first as a summer research assistant and will continue as an undergraduate thesis student for the fall and winter semesters. She is currently in the Biomedical Research Specialization of the Honours Biochemistry Program. Outside of the lab, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, reading, listening to music, and playing piano.

Research Interests:

Anahita is investigating multidrug-resistant soil bacteria to identify and characterize resistant phenotypes and resistant determinants.
